Here are some projects and communities that we are working with currently.

Jane and Friends

Jane is 16 year old girl with severe autistic condition which makes it difficult for her to find employment in the regular job market. Jane stays at home with her parents in Singapore and learn through the many activities her parents adapt from various sources to teach her. Over the years Jane’s parents came to realise that she is rather good with her hands and is able to create pretty handmade cards.

Jane’s parents also have other friends whose kids also have similar conditions. The parents have come together to form a self-help group, sharing their experiences and doing activities together. One of these activities was trying to make Christmas and other festive cards for their families and friends.

Their cards have received very positive responses and the families have been encouraged to start a small handmade card-making community for their kids, in hope for a sustainable income for the kids to support their own livelihood in the future.
